Collective Attempt was a week-long residency organized by curator Xavier Acarín. It ran at Can Serrat International Residency, an eighteen-century house in the natural park of Montserrat mountain outside of Barcelona, from September 4-September 11, 2022.
Invited guest curators and artists proposed a series of activities, readings, and exercises that activated conversations and experiments around the increasing and urgent need for communities and societal structures built on notions of collaboration and cooperation, especially given today’s rise of myriad global-scaled crises.

RARO Barcelona
International artist-in-residence program, Barcelona 2022
One month residency program curated by Felipe Garcia Salazar, during which I worked at the studio of Barcelona artist Mireia Ruiz.
My project was dedicated to memory in the broad sense. Following the advise of Mireia, I was visiting Mercat dels Encants, Barcelona's largest and oldest flea market, where I eventually found all the keys and an anchor for my sculpture.
At the same time, I was doing every day walks around the city, collecting material for one more work – a painted performative "Memory Game" (wasn't complete and performed).
